What's the appeal of Holmes? Early bye players need to be about 10 points underpriced. Has he got an extra 10 points in him?

Considering the natural curve of his scoring, he's gone from 61 > 66 > 80 > 99 in SC.

He should be at the stage now where he is attending a large number of CBA's.

Entering age 23 season so should see more natural improvement, guy is an absolute gun. I don't see how he does not finish in the 105-110 average at a minimum this year. I can envisage more possessions (24 a game last year) and more tackles (3 per game). If he can kick more goals forward of centre he could easily go well beyond 110

Last 3 games he went 121, 152 and 76 in 53% TOG before doing the string (only worry imo)

Dylan Shiel - I am interested. Could see him going bonkers with the HB role.

Big watch for me in the pre season games.
Interesting.

I was always of the opinion that he wasn’t a great user of the footy.

Has this changed? Or am I mistaken?

$415k, huge no no. Big injury risk. Also wouldn't be surprised if he has a day full of clangers/turnovers and gets dropped. Bombers have their fair share of distributors. If he was $315k, maybe.

Damn that's harsh but ok i will steer clear. :thumbsu:
Back your gut man, just offering my 2c.
Long history of soft tissue injuries and he'll be 32 yo in a couple of months. Just seems way too risky for the price, not that much of a bargain.

Seeing Short in a lot of teams. Anyone what to enlighten me as to why he is seen as a good pick and why people consider him a keeper?
And don't say Rioli leaving....
has good numbers before richmond imploded in transition to the bottom

it does feel dirty having him and im hoping to cleanse myself of him prior to season proper, but he does present value in defence

The thinking is, with RICH likely to be seeing a lot of big defeats ...that they might seek to stem the bleeding by playing a more possession game out of DEF ....hopefully that benefits Short

Think Luke Ryan last season

OhNo not about the Tigers being :poo: but the chipping around in defence that won't happen. Shorty likes to kick it 40m+ to the oppo(Effective Pos:thumbsu:) then hope it gets kicked over his head but only for a behind.:moustache:

A lot of die-hard RICH supporters think it will happen ....steady the ship, all the young players will benefit from a slower more controlled game (at times)

OK, so no ringing endorsement there.

They may be Die hard supporters but that won't happen. That style is for very experienced teams with great kickers and very good midfielders who can stick to a game plan. Not young sides playing keepings off to kill time or stem the flow, you need fast ball movement even with young teams to give the forwards a chance in 1 on 1s.

I wonder how crazy you’d have to be to start Mills at D1..
If there was enough solid looking cheaper options, why not? But there's not, lol

I'm Mills at D5 at the moment, defence looks weak.

Getting a little scared about Kerch playing all over the place this preseason. If I drop him, there's no defenders under $550k I like (aside from the ones I already have). Fingers crossed we get enough solid cheap options, then I'll just go weaker in defence and grab another mid premo or something.

I would be all over Matt Roberts if I didn’t already have Mills @ D4

Every chance he averages ~100 and so if a D5/6 keeper at a nice price.
