I think the Viney could definitely bite us. Clarry had a mare last year off the back of off field issues. Seems like he’s getting back towards his best.
I can see the club point of view on Viney. He’s heart and soul of the club. 3 more seasons after this year so we’ll need to see if we can sort out a solution in the middle.

They both player better when the other is out of the team, go figure.

I would have agreed with that statement before last year when he didn't need a contract extension but decided to bend us over.

Not saying there is anything wrong with it, id have probably done the same. Just that Jack is team Jack.

If I were him I'd be desperate to get to a more open forward line. Hawks slot him in for Gunston and he'd kick 60-70 goals

Actually I could weirdly see Fritsch slotting in at Geelong. They love hitting up a lead up forward.

We are definitely going to be looking at a rebuild of sorts. And we’ve been regenerating on the run also. But I’m not keen to go scorched earth on the list. You’d want some major currency back. Richmond got lucky last year but even then they’ll be bottom 4 for years.
Some players like Trac may want out but it’ll be hard to get he value back. Particularly when we could be footing some of his wage. We are in a difficult spot especially if we lose Kozzy. We would really be wanting some of these young guys to come good and maybe a snag a decent FA or 2.

Tracca is the one we need most to keep... along with Maysy & Kozzy.
Also:- van Rooyen, Petty, McVee, Lindsay, Windsor, Chandler, Bowey, Rivers... these are the future of our club.

those not mentioned apart from our stalwarts... can be raffled off.

Guy has kicked 41, 38 (missed a bunch of games through injury), 55 and 59 goals over the past four seasons in a team that doesn’t kick goals. There's almost no way he'd go for a mid second rounder in a compromised draft, even if we do have a fire sale.

My god, if we lost the only three blokes who play with flair and can kick goals (Koz, Trac and now Fritta) in one offseason, you'd just about pack things up completely.
