I used to travel there for work and it can be bloody freezing, if they wanted a night Tassie game why not early or late in the year not in the friggin middle of winter!!
I'm keen for a trip to Launceston for the game! Cold or not... footy, great wine and some golf for the rest of the weekend! Perfect!

But honestly, I have lived in Canberra and Canada - both of which I found colder than Tassie (Hobart particularly).

Things to look out for in the fixture:
Since 2011 we have played Carlton away 13 times and at home just 3 times
In the last decade we have only played Fremantle away 3 times
Since we last played Hawthorn in a final, we've been given 8 away games (2 in Tasmania) and 4 home games against them. If we only play Hawthorn once in Tasmania this year, our record over the last decade will be 4 home games and 3 Tasmania games
Since the grand final we have played Richmond 6 times at home and only twice away. We've also had an incredible home run against St Kilda (since 2011, 12 home games, 5 away games)
We have played Western Bulldogs more times in Ballarat than at Adelaide Oval (4-3) and this will stretch to 5-3 if we only play them once in Ballarat this year

That boss eyed moron goal umpire costing us finals got us exactly 1 year of special treatment and avoiding the shithole, and now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
