Considering we were supposed to get a leg up from the AFL this year after the Keays non-goal, the 2025 draw is far better than 2024 was.
1 x Thursday + 3 x Fridays. Double up against Collingwood (which every team asks for). 3 games at the MCG.
Should start the season no worse than 4-2 if we are serious.

AFL still couldn't get Opening Round and Round 1 right, but at least we haven't been screwed this time.

I think the Ballarat council requests SA teams, we're just hankering for a 6 hour drive to a country ground apparently.
3rd course is a stretch - if you mean the Bougle Run? Fun though.
The last time I played Barnbougle the winds, rain and hail were horrific - still was worth it!!
Lost Farm is by far the better course to play when the weather is bad.
Good that our first game is against a team that also misses the Opening Round 0.

A bit cheeky of the AFL to give us one Marvel game after our recent good record there. 3 games at the MCG is great though.
We have 4 out of 6 at home to start the year, and 4 of 6 at home to finish the year, with North at Marvel in Rd 24 who will likely have little reason to want to win.
Zero excuse to miss finals next year. Zero.

Mate we have been pretty lucky most years, we only get 6 (5 until 2023) teams twice so the odds are you don’t get an away game each yr at the Gabba, if anything, we have had “overs” and Carrara is a leisurely 45-50 min drive from the CBD

It’s a bit sad that as a club we have to worry about either two Perth trips, or yet another trip to Geelong. Rotate this shit around! The Bulldogs in Ballarat over Marvel for nearly a decade now is just something you have to laugh at or it’s depressing.
