Thanks for this ever so useful tidbit. Will keep it in mind when VFL Fantasy opens.
Did say "as an aside". Some thought he was still around. He's listed at Casey, he's a chance to do an phoenix and rise again - you liked the Boner - admit it!

He's been very good at the Tiges - really disappointed we didn't draft him somehow. His 1st and especially his 2nd qtr in the sim on the weekend looked elite. It was on the other side of the oval from where I was, but it was him so often intercepting, then turning defence into attack. Quietened off in the 3rd and 4th, but it was a good trial!

If we get too many $230k rookies i won't know what to do with my cash
Just having a look at my bench rookies who are all $230k

Leake/Reid
Kaleb Smith
Lorenz/Moraes
El-Hawli
Max Heath
Conor Stone
Max Hall
Sam Davidson

There's bound to be others that I haven't identified, Gothard and Boxshall come to mind. But geez, makes the on field team nice.

TBH I don't have much faith in this years batch of rookies as all of them will have ordinary roles, relatively low production given their prices and also be highly susceptible to the Sub vest. There's certainly no Ashcroft, Daicos, Sheezel or McKercher types that were absolute must haves in starting sides.

The only rookie priced player on field is Elijah Hewett at M8, I do have 4 players in the $400k range, Schoenmaker D6, Erasmus/Allan M7, Sheldrick M6 and Lynch or Hugo Garcia at F6, yet to decide on the last one, might come down to whether I can loop Lynch in each of the early bye rounds.

Cash gen is always a key and I reckon there's upside in every player on my team barring the early VC/C options in Brayshaw and Gawn, Cripps could also fall here as a C choice but I think he's a little underpriced particularly early on with Carlton's very soft draw to start the season.

Setting the bar at 100 ave for D6, 105 ave for M8, 110 ave for R2 and an 85 ave for F6. Looks like we could well be gifted 2 keepers for bugger all very early in the season, Coleman and Phillipou.

You've got most of the $230K covered. I'd add Rowston from GWS and Caiden Clearly from Sydney, who's $244K.
