You think Johnson is taking over from Campbell ?
Ballsy move 🤨
Maybe hes saying he'll return to the Lions coz he hates every available job and the Bears will stick with Thomas Brown. :gigglev1:

My Predictions

Patriots - Vrabel
Bears - Johnson
Jaguars - Glenn
Raiders - Moken
Jets - Cohen
New orleans - Flores

My predictions:

Patriots - Vrabel
Bears - Carroll
Jaguars - Coen
Raiders - Johnson
Jets - Ryan
New Orleans - Glenn

Can see the Raiders and Bears flipping if Johnson cools on the Brady effect.

Jets - Ryan
Dont see this playing out. Rex is a critic of Rodgers and you'd only bring Rex in to try and salvage wins from this supposed "win now" roster, cant see them working together whatsoever. Hes not the guy to be in charge of a rebuild.

I think the Jets want Aaron Glenn bad but Saints and Lomis have shown they will give a coach a chance to find his feet more than the Jets do so think he ends up there. Having said that they could blow the Saints out of the water with a overpay offer to get Glenn over the line.

If they dont land Glenn I can see them settling for Nagy or Spags if they hire Borganzi (from KC) as GM. ****ing sad sad stuff.

The guys the jets have interviewed aren't exactly a list of top tier candidates. Every one of them has significant flaws.

A lot of older guys in this cycle who aren’t incredibly inspiring.
There are 3-4 candidates you’d be comfortable with but a few you’d be underwhelmed with

this is why the Jets is the worst opening of the lot, and why people are overrating how bad the Saints job is.

Imo the three biggest things to take into account are
  • QB (or a high draft pick so you can draft one)
  • An owner willing to give you time/leeway to build
  • A GM you get along with/have a similar philosophy to/is on a similar timeline to you

Jets have maybe the last one of those three, whereas the Saints could easily have 2 of the 3

I agree, the Jets are basically a guaranteed failure. At least at Chicago and Vegas you might have an excuse due to the division strength, and New Orleans due to the cap. At the Jets, Woody will make decisions based on Madden then blame you for them not working out.
