Didn't Seahawks fans hate Bevell? Or was that just because they didn't run Beast Mode from the 1?

So much. I'd much rather stick with O'Connell for a season.
Far better losing with O'Connell than finishing in no mans land and pick 10-12 with Russ. You dont ever want to try and be the Steelers or Saints.O'Connel just ain't good enough to be a starter, career backup, handy for spot duty. Wilson is at least a little more than capable at this stage in his career, but he isn't the bees knees either.
Raiders, Steelers, and anyone else in need of a QB really has to draft their own and hope they end up a franchise QB, because all those vets like Rodgers, Cousins, Wilson, Darnold, and all those young career backups just aren't going to ever cut it.
And that he failed a medical on a busted kicking ankle but the guarantee sticksYou missed tucker received a full guaranteed life time contractat double the next highest kicker is getting paid.
I maintain it's wise for the Raiders to be bad this year so they're in a position to draft a QB next year and have them sit behind a veteran. Better than wasting a 2nd on Milroe or Dart this year. Now that might sound premature, but I'm just playing the odds on QBs drafted outside the first round, which is that the overwhelming majority are busts.O'Connel just ain't good enough to be a starter, career backup, handy for spot duty. You'll be right but **** me that's a hard sell for the fans.I maintain it's wise for the Raiders to be bad this year so they're in a position to draft a QB next year and have them sit behind a veteran. Fans are idiots, Raiders have been irrelevant for 20 years so what's one more? And its not like Russ is way better than O'Connell to where he makes you a playoff team. Complete waste of time. You'll be right but **** me that's a hard sell for the fans.
They get 8 home games a year and they're essentially told it's going to be another year of shit.
I'm very fortunate my team is good, I can see how fans of certain franchises would be pretty easily disengaged.
I don't disagree, I just think it's a ****ing hard sell.Fans are idiots, Raiders have been irrelevant for 20 years so what's one more? And its not like Russ is way better than O'Connell to where he makes you a playoff team. Complete waste of time.
White Rus or black Rus?Russ Wilson a Raider?
They have lost to other teams:Broncos staff been absolutely pillaged this offseason.
I'm with you. Always play to win, get a roster that can win. You'll be right but **** me that's a hard sell for the fans.

Them's the breaks in a competition with 32 teams and no relegation. Someone has to be bad. The Philadelphia 76ers showed tanking for a better draft pick is a valid strategy for success. Now obviously basketball only has 5 starters compared to 22 across offense and defense in football, but only one of those is a quarterback. Getting a stud pocket QB is like getting a Doncic-like superb passer and shooter, and getting a stud mobile qb is like getting a Jokic or Giannis who can kill a defense in every possible way. You'll be right but **** me that's a hard sell for the fans.

Keep their OC and DC then? That's better than the Lions at least. They have lost to other teams:
Special Teams Assistant (Jets STC)
TEs Coach (Bears OC)
Passing Game Coordinator (Lions OC)
Assistant GM (Jets GM)
Senior Personnel Executive (Lions Passing Game CO)
Fired:
Special Teams Coorindtor
Linebackers Coach
I agree but how many QBs drafted in the top 3/5 have gone on to live up to expectations in the last 20 years? Andrew Luck probably but he was ruined by injury, anyone else?Them's the breaks in a competition with 32 teams and no relegation. Someone has to be bad. Leaving out the 2024 class because it's still early, Stroud, Burrow, Murray has been okay, Mayfield and I can't be bothered looking up the rest. But let me ask you this, what percentage of QBs drafted outside the top 5 have become good players? The answer is very few.I agree but how many QBs drafted in the top 3/5 have gone on to live up to expectations in the last 20 years? Andrew Luck probably but he was ruined by injury, anyone else?
