I also went to training this morning, agree with comments about Goad in terms of size and at one point he moved as quick in transition as I've ever seen someone over 200cm move. Bloody hell.
Having said that he was gassed before many of his team mates and then got pantsed in a marking practice with X. He was defending but seemed overly intent on defending basketball style (all reach and no body) . Of course that could be partly to protect his team mate so not 100% on that.
I was in the camp of waste of a pick for a " project " but tentatively onboard after seeing him close up today.
