Which key defender is going to step up and become a dominant player?
To go to that next level our defence needs to be top 4 and will require our young defence to progress.

Can Murray put his ACL behind him and become that?
Or will a second preseason for Keane elevate him?

But wouldn't we effectively be replacing ROB with Burgess, Cook or Murphy?

However you feel about ROB, this move doesn't make us a better team.
Or Toby Murray...

Worrell & Max to control the half back line.

The problem with our KPD are they are both too short to take on the monster 200cm forwards. Only Butts has the height. Maybe T Murray can be a defender.

The AA full back last year was 195cm tall.

Cal Wilkie is 191.... they dont seem to struggle.

Sid was ‘eased’ in? He basically didn’t train yesterday. After a decent break too. Call it ‘management’ if you want AFC, but clearly he a has significant injury. Has to put him in some doubt for the start of the season.
I'd love him to debut round 1, but realistically we have like 30 players we are trying to fit into the 22, so I won't get too worried about it.

Not sure now, but last time I checked..Tex,Soligo,Ryan,Shoenberg,
Keayes,Berry,T.Muz.
And they ALL mouth the words to the national anthem too!
Tex’s boys got the buzz too

If you want a good discussion on the Crows players, and team make-up .....you'll find this very entertaining
Forget the Supercoach aspect ....those discussions are more based upon player roles

General agreement is ...Crouch should not be playing ....and the impact Milera has on the Crows

I’m glad we bottomed out, finishing last doesn’t bother me, but that’s not the point of my post. Mostyn is giving the club credit as if it was by design, it was far from intentional with Roo saying during the year we expected to be better but our experienced players let us down.

Finishing bottom also forced us to go full rebuild rather than half arsed.
Is that what Bob Ross would refer to as a “happy little accident”?

We’ll see.
For me Crouch gets first go @ distributor without Laird and doesn’t look back.

I've said for years, Crouch adds very little benefit to a Midfield, where all AFL Clubs are seeking speed, both legspeed and ball movement

I agree with the analysis, our midfield will function so much better without Crouch .....more opportunities for Rankine, Peatling, Dawson, and Curtin ....plus Rachelle
