Yeah I'm thinking Flanders can be covered in round 2. Should have all the rookies still playing (lol). Just a matter of whether he can start well to justify the price.

l would pick Flanders because he's a DDP and its always handy having them..

I've traded LDU & Kako > Bolton & Phillipou
Pretty well full MPM this team but there are still 8 Premos and at least 6 Captain options.
I like there is only 5 Rookies on field all high priced and also only 3x Round 0 experienced MP players on field

Impossible to say in early January. I guess that's the upside of the Flex spot, you can swap him out to a player on any line.

First take. Haven't really looked at anyone elses teams or done any research. Just clicked all the no brainers and filled in the gaps. Rookies randomly picked across a wide price range.

The Flex role is doing my head in - do I take a gamble on a player who I think could score big, or just tuck away a known premo? I have SPP there currently, but it will change 100 times in the coming weeks.

I too was overthinking the flex pos, until WaynesWorld19 summed it up brilliantly.

Basically:
It's an on-field position.
It's best 23 scores every week.
Your worst score will drop off.

So with that, it really doesn't matter...

It's still way more important to select the correct on-field rookies early in the season (rookie lotto still applies, just less so now).

If you want 3 ruck premos because you think they score the best, flex allows you to do that.

A Bit Dusty starting three of Bont, Butters and Brayshaw gave me P envy, so started throwing around the magnets.

Also Watched a supercoach podcast this morning on youtube and one of the dudes made a compelling case that Peatlings midfield time won't be affected even though they run deep. I wanted him already but that was the bit i needed convincing. I am convinced and besides as he pointed out why would he choose Adelaide if they won't run him in the middle for a large chunk.

Defence looks light but is it? I have it as

Schoonermaster - Bonners role 80+
Trav - Wilsons role - 65
SEH - HB/Wing distributor - 80+
Bice - HB/Wing distributor - 80+

All more likely then not to start and with great cash gen.
