Bulldogs' board (not my opinion)Would love JUH to succeed Checkers.
Two first rounders and a player.
But I reckon he probably needs to head interstate for a fresh start if it’s a serious as implied.
He’s good mates with Reef and I’d back Fly to get the best out of him over Bevo. If what you’re saying is true he could end up being a bargain on potential.Bulldogs' board (not my opinion)
- Saints offered their 2 firsts...then pulled offer after doing some research
- Most don't believe any club would pay 2 firsts now (let alone 2 first plus player) for a player that i) may not resolve issues ii) be consistent performer
If he's failing St Blunder background checks, it must be a real worry!Bulldogs' board (not my opinion)

Markov, Johnson, Long…..safe to say their agents won’t be all that busy.
Mason Cox
Jamie Elliott
Will Hoskin-Elliott
Jeremy Howe
Ash Johnson*
Ned Long*
Brayden Maynard
Brody Mihocek
Scott Pendlebury
Steele Sidebottom
Oleg Markov*

A first round pick and an ounce of weedWhat's a legitimate trade cost for him, do you reckon?
If he chooses Geelong you just know that GC will offer him up for a second rounder and throw in their future first as a sweetener. So Matt Rowell has spoken to Geelong. I hope we are knee deep in chasing him as well. If he is unhappy and has decided to weigh up his options, we should be front and centre. If we play the GF, win lose or draw, we should be a strong contender.
He's out of contract at the end of this year isn't he?Rowell still has 2 years to go with his current contract. We'd need to find a couple of top draft picks to trade if we want him at the end of this year. Better strategy to keep finding free agents that won't cost picks -just need to be 'creative' with the offered contract. Surely we must be into Ed Richards. Perfect age for us and a top player -not to mention his family connections.
Mitch Cleary said on this morning's Tradies podcast that he is of the view that Rowell spoke to other clubs around the same time but has not been able to establish who. He did tweet last night that Collingwood are interested in him.So Matt Rowell has spoken to Geelong. I hope we are knee deep in chasing him as well. No he didn’t, he said we should be though. It was very much his opinion, not a fact.Cal Twomey reported late last year that we're very much into Matt Rowell so there's a fair chance we've spoken to him.
Where that goes from here, who knows.
I just can't see how we could come up with someway of trading for him unfortunatelyCal Twomey reported late last year that we're very much into Matt Rowell so there's a fair chance we've spoken to him.

Could you see a way that we could have traded for Houston at this time last year?I just can't see how we could come up with someway of trading for him unfortunately
