Used to really rate his journalism, by his own admission "wore the duffel coat" over the Essendon drug saga, acted like pompous flog when called on it.

Further examination of his character reveals pompous flog of limited intelligence who appears to believe that a life spent writing about footy makes him some sort of big news down at the crackerjack factory.

Also, I'm #TeamRita
I can understand all of that right up until the final line. A more repulsive bottom feeder you will not find.

Revealed a lot more about yourself than RoCo here.

I looked at that pic and thought a Robbie Tarrant/ Mark Mercuri hybrid.
Like our 1st draft and 2nd draft this year he needs to play Round 1 in Cairns against The Suns will need pace up there in the heat and if this doesn't happen he doesn't play or 1st or 2nd pick don't play this will be the start of the BS spin by BS in 2018 need to get serious BS

Takes one to know one....

This smells like a Marley Williams and Nathan Rovat type pick up. He will be able to fulfil a secondary midfielder type role where he runs along the wing. he finds space and apply pressure when playing defensive. This is one of those evolution type players as when our team's B graders are like him, then we have a premiership ready team as the B graders are your bread and butter type players. think of these players like your pikemen in ancient battle and the A graders are your cavalry. you need to pin the enemy in place before you mow them down. So battle is in a way dependant on the quality of the pikeman. Think of king phillips' army from ancient macedonia, he had the elite phalanx with the sarissa that had the ability to keep any type of enemy at bay and they are then wiped out by the archers and calvaries. I would say our focus is to actually try to get the best B graders to build the foundation and the a graders will pop out when time is right.

The ‘H’ in Hrovat is silent, not invisible.

Good luck with that!!!

I think goodwill from previous dealings can be a factor in trade week. People say Dodoro is hard to deal with, but he is pretty fair, and expects to be treated fairly in return. We got a pick in the mid twenties from Melbourne for Melksham in 2015, which was pretty generous. When it came to Hibberd wanting to go to Melbourne in 2016, we took pick 30, which was way under his value, but Melbourne had been good to us the year before.
But, if you don't want to repay bits of goodwill here and there, you never know when it might come back to bite you.

I'm not #TeamRita for her politics

our last sack of trading goodwill was last seen by a bloke running up glenferrie rd.

I like this selection for 4 reasons;
1. This; North Melbourne list manager Michael McMahon, who showed interest in recruiting Morgan while he was still working at Geelong - I think it's a good sign that we know his potential
2. The * didn't delist him and had offered him a 1 year contract so they mus see his potential
3. He seems to have chosen us rather than re-sign
4. Virtually free so all the risk is removed

So good luck to him I say and let's all say a prayer for his hamstrings

Yeh No 4....

Nekminit it will be wat did he cost us in the Draft on here if he misfires....

Ah yes. The famous " Lachlan Veale " deal.

See, we do remember.

I am not sure if I agree with your analysis; but I do like how you managed to fit in an ancient warfare analogy. :thumbsu:

Fourteen first and second round picks over five drafts.
2013 - McDonald, Dumont
2014 - Ahern, Durdin, Nielson, Vickers-Willis
2015 - McKay, Morgan, Clarke, Hibberd
2016 - Simpkin, Watson, Williams
2017 - #4, #23

We have no young players. No future.

Didn't Terry Wallace say something stupid like that we are 10 years away? Maybe it wasn't 10 but something still ridiculous.
