Not sure a brick was used, where did you hear that? Andrew got king hit by Jack Martin 6 years prior, it was a family war and they were in Freo and decide to settle it one on one, Martin got knocked to the ground but Andrew's brother decided to jump in and kick Martin in the head while he was on the ground.

Martin ended up in hospital after 3 guys (Andrew included) decided to keep kicking and punching him while on the ground. Not sure where the brick was used, never mentioned in the court case.

I couldn’t see an Aussie court giving a 2y sentence for this kinda assault charge unless the offender used a brick and life changing injuries were sustained. , on what’s been reported doesnt sound anything like that ,

BS if that was me the judge would give me a life sentence. Where a career criminal would get bail to go with the other bails he has in force. Look his getting off no two ways about it and the afl will pretend to give him 3 weeks to keep there integrality in check We actually had a dude here glass someone in pub and was out in two months this is after he pulled a gun on someone and spend 3 months in jail.
