Why is this bloke nearly on page 2? He is the #1 pick ffs. His tank will surely be suspect at best year 1, but he is going to be carrying a pretty serious frame into the season. I like the look on his Chevy Chase. Looks like he means business and has a brain in his head, but no song & dance. Nice. Very nice.

His body and face doesn't look like a kid more like a mature 25 year old hope he is ready and go from the start f that look after them mentality.
You have to remember Bart Cummings - if he thought a horse was a Cup contender, he wouldn't murder it as a 2 & 3yo. This bloke doesn't look like he would jump out of the way if someone was charging at him though. Would definitely be nice to see the club produce him early if he is ready. Can always give him a freshen up later in the season.

If he does I doubt he’ll be playing many midfield minutes. Might be thrown in there in the last quarter when we’re down by 10 goals for a couple spells

He ran So you think as 3 year old i think. Cummings always knew a cup horse and knew you needed mature horse to win it and kept them back if he thought they were cup standard.

He lookslike he will be a total beast. If he can play to his potential we have a guy who will be hard to stop.

You do realize that the VFL is a rougher game what's the point it's a game if he needs resting he will get a quarter of in time they are not stupid . We have a spanish 17 year old scoring goals for fun it's not hurting him. If they are good enough play them.

****, the club should let Balta off for assisting a misguided gentleman to straighten out his ideas, and give Sam 8 weeks for that. That needs to be dealt with urgently. Get him straight into a Ford.
