Was taking a look thinking that this week may be his last game in Melbourne.

He ain't getting a farewell game. He is playing mediocre footy in the VFL.

Hope they paid you well, but you were clearly not long for AFL and North's call was absolutely right.

So now you will retire and no one is really gonna care. Which is sad, pulled on our jumper the third most of anyone and no one gives a shit your done.

Yes he has a one year deal only, just more money they we were prepared to offer.

**** him, had some not nice words to say about us re crowds and someone else wanting him.

No need to go about it the way he did.

Sad ending.

If it were any other club, it would still suck, but would be a bit more forgiveable imo. Being *, it does taint him more. It's just not something you should do if you've ever worn a North jumper. Just imagine Archer or Stevo entertaining such rubbish. You can't.

Having said, that he hasn't done anything at * other than take up a list spot which ultimately goes a small way to just keep them in no man's land for longer, so silver linings and all.

After posting the above I went and checked and Footywire has him contracted for next year, so unless he has actually announced retirement he may be going around again.

I was chatting to his best mate down the road today and asked him how Todd was going. He said he’s pretty much a full time ruck coach nowadays, not getting much of a look in, and he suspects that’s what he’ll be full time next year.

Jed Anderson, Levi greenwood, jack mahony Daniel Harris, mckernan

There if a difference north let Martyn go. To make matters worse they didn't even tell him that he was delisted he got a call from his manager telling him to nominate for the draft
If we’re telling a playing he will mostly play VFL, we are forcing that player out.

Drew Petrie
Shaun Higgins
Robbie Tarrant
Daniel Wells
Goldstein
Greenwood
Bastinac
Hamish McIntosh
Aaron Black
Trent Dumont
Sam Gibson
Ben Brown
Sam Gibson and maybe Greenwood are the only 2 on that list that got better or you could classify as a good move . Technically Brown got a premiership medal but hasnt done much at the Dees

Why didn't he want to do that for/with us? :(

Haha, strange choice by them. They already have several ruckman who get games over him, he's really just taking up a list spot that should be going to a younger player. Bard just wants to make sure Goldy can buy another house, I guess. What a great guy
There are two rucks ahead of him. He is cheap insurance for if one or both of them go down and will be better than pick 5 million in the draft in providing that insurance.

As a supporter base we've conned ourself into thinking youth at all costs.

Wasn't he basically useless for them in the last 70% of the year though? He is well past cooked. He's got charring

Pretty funny tbh. Scott tripped over himself to kick out our most senior players, and now at Essendon he's holding on to Oldy McOldold for dear life.

Whatevers. Enjoy the extra cash big fella.
Every chance he continues to get some games with how durable Draper is.
