We had six/seven Bonar-fied shitmen take the field yesterday and Tommy wasn’t one of them .

Yes a new group classed as Bonar-fied Shitmen. Am sure it will have some posters up in arms.

It's really interesting, this sentiment on here like LDU has already made it and his performances don't matter either way.

He's not Dustin Martin of Josh Kennedy Jr, he's got a long way to go to become a player who displays high level consistency and helps turn the Ls into Ws for us.

Not sure where you're reading that. I'm saying his performances in a practice match don't really matter that much. I'd like him to be flying, but ultimately it doesn't matter until the season begins.

When I was writing a book with 2 Kangas players about 7 years ago they remarked that they were instructed by the club to 'NOT READ' forums like Bigfooty.

He even said in his 1st couple of years he poked his head into BF and it wasn't great for his head.

Personally not a fan of a lot of the terms thrown around that would never been said to the players face. It'd break my heart and pi$$ me off if I was a parent of a player and saw some of the stuff written about players. Stinker of a game, dud effort sure. But calling people cowards and worse is what's wrong with the internet/social media. We all have a voice and freedom of speech. But to what point?

I was told something very similarly by Heath O'Loughlin when I was running the Stern Look podcast and was looking for player guests.

The clubs and players really don't like the place, but are still appreciative of the sponsorships and club memberships. Bit of a weird relationship tbh.
