I hear fletch wanted to run out with his kids for the 400th but they didn't want to be carried like babies
At that point I'm pretty sure Mason was actually taller than Dustin

"That's a part of his weekly program – he jumps in the altitude chamber after main training sessions, does a swim, so he's continually working on his aerobic ability and we've seen his GPS [running results] still climbing upwards”

‘Yeah nah this facility is incredible, the closest thing they’ve got to a pool at the Doggies is that big pothole on Barkly street, and Bevo thinks an altitude chamber is the room where he and Tom Boyd play Tony Hawk’s Pro skater 2 on the PS1’

Also 9 clearances, most of anyone on the ground

Best thing about them was they werent all hacks, went with hands when it was the option and did so effectively. Composed, which is new.

His next best career performance as far as disposals is 21 and before tonight he only ever had two games above 20 disposals.

Can't tell you how big this is for him when it comes to proving he can be a midfielder. 29 disposals and 9 clearances (with 13 touches contested) is an absolutely huge effort against the premiers. Especially when you consider how unfit he looked earlier in the year.

It shouldn't go unnoticed that Langford and Heppell's contested form has been better in recent weeks with another big body regularly at stoppages too.

This right here is the story of the game, it isn’t ‘sides that were poles apart last year continue to be poles apart this year’, Stringer’s continual development into a guy that can do that makes us a completely different football side. It’s a game changer.

Stringer's midfield play is still a work in development - Earlier in the season he was too OFTEN trying to barge through packs at clearances, instead of handing the ball off - Tonight he over-corrected and was handballing at all costs, even though he had the chance to break from the clearance - There is no doubt he can clearly read the ball from stoppages and most pleasingly tonight he found the ball more outside of the stoppage.

His disposal let him down but considering he's still got plenty of improvement in his tank it's hard not to get excited about the future with this guy .

He's essentially been building match fitness during the season imagine where his conditining will be if/when he takes the 2019 preseason seriously.
