George Constanza would’ve been proud.
It's common place for clubs to make trades conditional. It wasn't just torching our F2 for Callum Coleman-Jones that the dogs wanted us to do to seal the deal..

Dogs "not so fast Brady"

Brady "??"

Dogs "punch yourself in the balls"

Brady "haha"

Dogs "No seriously"

Brady wallops himself and induces tears.

Dogs "Sir - we have ourselves a deal"

Are you serious?

I can’t wait for him to be fitter so that he can do his magic more often.

Yep and loved his game against the Eagle, was quiet that is true, but found a way to impact late and sealed the victory.
Last year he played 21 games and kicked 17.14, this season he's played 12 games and kicked 17.13.

It's all heading in the right direction for Paul & us.

A round of applause for Paul Curtis. He really fights and scraps for the ball. Doesn’t hang back, and his quick snaps at goal are getting better and better.
Yep, has a crack and is a good user of the ball.
He also kicked a goal on his right foot which I didn’t have on my 2024 footy bingo card.

I’m obviously a big fan, and most of his team mates made similar mistakes, but one stupid bit of play in the third killed out momentum and started the inevitable run on from the pies.

Outer wing/half forward, he’s pressed up against the boundary line, fighting for the footy. All he needed to do was get the footy out of bounds, instead he keeps it in, a pies player wins it, down the other end for the first of the their 3 goals to round out the 3rd qrt.

It’s game sense stuff. That was not the time to try a miracle play.

Knowing the umps he'll get done for insufficient intent. The pies had to be sucked in.

The reason it was such a good kick was Collingwood had all the numbers pressed up for a short kick. If they turn it over 45 out, they are away.

PC sees Larkey one out with Moore and executes the kick to his advantage which Moore had no chance to get to. It was that good of a delivery.

This is also the benefit of having Teakle and Pink. Larkey has two or three zoning on him if they are not playing.

Serious player now, but his next evolution is to eliminate the stupid frees... too dumb too often.

Amongst mids and forwards he's the worst offender in the league. Absolutely love him but this drives me crazy.

I feel like he's always going to be on the higher end of Frees Against due to his physical play style but do agree he needs to cut down on some of the unnecessary dumb ones.
