That was also htb. No argument there, just don't think Fisher was stiff
Fisher botched it . Plain and simple, could argue he was stiff but with some poise could have taken clean possession and disposed of it as the tackle (and i use the term tackle pretty loosely) was hardly fierce.

Just another of the dozen or so poor plays that cost us and we have to reduce.

Been very good. Did have one chance to pressure and get the ball back after he'd turned it over, could've shown a bit more urgency to correct his mistake. An area to keep working on for him.

Or, do what most of Carlton, Collingwood and Bulldog players do, and immediately drop the ball and start flapping the arms around, eyeballing the ump's for a holding free kick.

I love what Curtis brings to the table, but anyone saying his defensive game is anything above below average has NM blinkers on...

Paul Curtis defensive attitude is summed up at the 6.55 mark of the 1st quarter.

Can't be ****ed.

He has offence oozing out of his arse but definitely needs to work hard on his defensive intensity and work rate.

One effort was probably the worst effort I have seen from a NM player for many years. He lost the ball and zero second or third effort despite being only a metre or so from the player with the ball. Jogged in circles. Disgracefully poor footy. Should have been dragged there and then. However, I am a fan in general but sometimes he just gives up.

If he can't get the ball, he's on holiday.

That's the play I was talking about. Had the chance to get the ball right back off them and fix his mistake.
He's improved defensively but not quite to the consistent level required just yet. Hoping he can work on it.
