Regardless of what happens, if TT survives by not having his contract terminated, I can't see him play for North after his contract expires in 2024. He is currently on about $750k per year, but the next offer (if there is one) surely couldn't be more than half of that, which TT and Ben Williams are highly unlikely to accept. So in my opinion he is only a short term proposition for North at best. I get the sense that the club is losing patience with him and that he is starting to get on the nose with other North players, so his future at the club looks bleak. The best we can hope for is that he somehow does well enough to enable us to get a bit of a return for him through a trade, but even that is becoming increasingly unlikely. I doubt that he'll be able to turn things around at another club because he just doesn't seem to have the mentality required to sacrifice enough to make it as a professional sportsman competing at the highest level. Talent alone is not enough.

Yeah dunno. Maybe he has adhd or something. Whatever is going on, he’s obviously very impulsive. He needs to think before he posts, probably best that he gets off social media, though it’s not that easy. It’s not that uncommon for elite athletes to engage with negativity on social media, I remember Kevin Durant a few years back getting caught out with a burner account on Twitter arguing with nobody trolls. At the time KD was in the top handful of players n the NBA.

In days gone by someone would have knocked some sense into him until he got it or he ****ed off. But it doesn’t work that way now.

Given he posted a photo of himself drinking cocktails at the Gold Coast Casino, my guess is that he was telling his teammates and the club that he’s walked out and going to the Suns. (Which would be funny since a few of his teammates liked the post)

On the other hand it could have just been some cryptic rubbish to get a bit of attention. Who really knows with this guy.

We here in NM Big Footyland are In serious danger of disappearing up our own asses, conjuring up bad outcomes for the club. What will be, will be. This is being dealt with by the appropriate people - not us. We’re gunning for a flag - with or without TT.

Yeah I remember you writing that, but it’s still unnecessary and dumb from him. For all we know it could’ve been that post that went against how the club expects him to react and engage. Certainly wouldn’t have helped. He can’t control the narrative, that ship has sailed. He needs to stfu, knuckle down and focus on what is expected of him.
 
If he wanted to control the narrative then make a statement, or better yet get your useless manager on the phone and make him earn his salary. Wouldn't work well but would still be better than making a vague taunt on social media the day more accusations of shithead toxic behavior comes out.

It was such a ****ing dumb idea to post that night.
