Not sure it’s much of a priority right now.
Why would they be putting in any extra effort when he clearly isn’t himself.
By putting a last chance tangible program in place and essentially either performance manage his way out or give him a final chance to return

Friendly reminder. Hop off now.

He's never going to learn at this rate. He doesn't care, he's too stuck up his own ass in his own bubble of yes-men and wannabe gangsters living some Z-grade VIP life looking at the bank balances to know this won't last and he'll be serving at a Coles deli before too long because he isn't even smart enough to pick up a trade after failing at footy because he's not thinking ahead at all.

I hope no club picks him up, and that's not me trying to kick the man when he's down, that's saving him from making the same mistake again because if a club so floggish to pick him up means he can keep getting away with it because of this invisible immaterial element called this 'talent' that he has that he doesn't ever need to bank on, he can run this scam until the league gets a ******* clue, talent mind you that has not materialised in any substantial way. One half of one season a genuine A-grade talent does not make.
Remember Jono Patton, Hawthorn stood him down for sending inappropriate images to women did they not, and that was the end of him. Thomas on the thinnest of thin ice and looks a long way back for him. Ultimately he has got to want to be a better person himself and embrace the support. Sadly the evidence just isn't there.

Don’t blame TT for utterly ridiculous money we threw at him after 8 or so games of brilliance.

Viney must have been pissed off that Brady and his underlings chucked away that sort of capital at potential and not proven performances.

The funny thing is that we have had history of throwing well, well over market price for youngsters on nothing but potential.
This!!! If anyone's read any value investing literature from authors like Benjamin Graham (Buffetts mentor), invest in companies with a track record, proven performance, not on potential. There are a lot of parallels between list management and portfolio management.

Ugh... just so disappointed. Just... it's like when Gordon Ramsay stops screaming at the sous chef in Hells Kitchen and just quietly asks them to get out. It's not even about disciplinary action or getting them going again but finally realising they won't make it and asking them to leave depressingly.

That's where Thomas is heading.

Don't like writing people off, but gee he looks like he's at the point of no return. Conduct screams like someone who either is

A) Deliberately driving down his trade value to the point we'll be happy to get him off our books and to a club he wants to go to.
B) Completely given up on footy altogether and happy to take a payout and retire.

Pretty telling that he was close to Jason last year.

Silence from his manager means he's aware it's one of those two options IMO. Pretty pissweak all round.

Has it even been established this new message being leaked is recent?
If not then all he's done is post social media pic on his bday? that people dont like.
Well.... there's the public goading of a woman whilst he gets investigated for alleged mistreatment of women, the fact that the club don't think he's made enough progress with his education, and the fact that he'd prefer to keep flaunting his budget rock-star lifestyle rather than 1. shutting up, and 2. posting about the team, both options which would be immeasurably wiser than what he's doing. We haven't just pulled it out of the air

My mail is that Williams and Co were working on getting him to Port th whole time so nothing would surprise me with TT. I wonder if the AFL would deregister him if that were case?
Why Poort? Was the bond with whatshisface that deep, or does Williams have some dodgy alliance going on with Poort?

Yeah the goading was dumb. Im sure the club hasn't pulled it out of thin air, it could just be they dont want the media circus swamping training. Theres plenty of AFL footballers playing who have done far worse than TT, not an excuse for him but pointing out he shouldn't be viewed as a lost cause.

Clubs just biding their time while they figure out how to get rid of him without a hefty payout. He’s done, I’ve never been more certain
I agree, I can't see him ever successfully returning to the fold. You can see how tightknit the current group is by how they got together to exuberantly celebrate on the ground and with the fans after the win against Freo, then return to the sheds with CZ almost exploding with pride and happiness, singing the song with gusto followed by another hugging session to show their appreciation for each other for the effort that was put in to pull the win over the line. All these players are invested in each other and the club and they have bought into Clarko's programme and the new culture. TT doesn't fit in with the new North and has burnt too many bridges to be part of that now and would only serve as an unwanted distraction. His mentality won't allow him to sacrifice enough to become the player he could be. The club first mentality is not part of TT's DNA. I believe the story about several players having gone to management to say they don't want anything to do with him anymore and there will be increasingly more, which will make him an outcast. Clarko won't risk the group dynamics and I therefore also think he is truly done at North.

He's a prolific social media user who literally hasn't posted anything about two great wins by his team mates. What does that say about his level of interest in the club?

Point is, that's why we think he's a lost cause and are reacting accordingly. He clearly isn't learning. The goading was just breathtakingly stupid, the sign of someone who's either mentally checked out of the club already or is too ****ing arrogant and set in his ways to even bother trying to change. Not to mention the utter lack of interest in any team related developments. I think he's done, and if he suits up for another club and plays a vital role for them, I will vomit profusely

If that is the case and the word is out there surely the afl investigates. As they should with Judas.

Any hint of this sabotaging a contract should be snuffed out completely

Let's not skip over this too quickly. One of the best sources on this board believes that a player manager has attempted to get two high profile highly talented high draft picks to Port Adelaide twice in two years from the same club. Never mind the idea that the one to get JHF to PA was planned pre draft and 18mo out

And if they Performance manage him and it can be evidenced that he is not meeting his obligations successfully then they will have leverage to cut his contract. If they don’t go through this process then they will need Taz to agree to early release - right now effort is being put into this to both turn him around and minimise the portion of a million bucks we would need to pay to see him out the door.

How and why were Collingwood allowed to pay out the Dayne Beams contract outside of the cap?

If we do pay him out, the amount should be staggered over the remainder of the original contract term, and reduced by any amount he receives from playing for another club.

I have no clue, about sooo many things, infact I reckon I am getting dumber by the day, at least by percentage, but I reckon he's looking for a get out clause to get himself into a barrel and smuggled over the border to be with Cornfrancis.
