yep a joke but not hard to assume who it came from seeing as TT recently split from the ex who he has been on and off with for awhile

Hopefully the good from this is he’s done with her for good now

Here's another theory.

The same complainant went back the journos at the Hu who said "you again, we don't fare about Tarryn's shitty texts" so they went hunting further down the food chain until finding someone who would run it.

It'll be interesting to see if he is at training before the date of the hearing.

I'd guess the club would ask to see the texts if that's what the issue is. If it's a non-issue they'll keep him around the group.

Sending something that could be interpreted as threatening is an incredibly dumb move, but unless the threat is clear and direct then I don't think he should lose his career over another "your time is coming" text. Even if it's something heavy I doubt that's his career done, at most it may push the club to sell him for ten cents on the dollar come trade week.

Threatening to release images was the only part of last year's circus that had enough weight to it to get the police involved.

At the very least he has learned not to fan the flames on instagram.
 
Regardless of the severity of the actions and the clear act of spite by the ex going to the AFL rather than the Police.

There's probably little doubt TT has acted like a complete ****wit again in at least a minor capacity as a minimum.

There's clearly enough in what he's done for the AFL to haul him in for a please explain after seeing or hearing it.

There's just too much evidence of him just being a shit bloke (and entirely stupid kid still) at this point.

He’s essentially a JDG type off field (lack of brains and maturity) but that’s not enough to not be on a list

Absolutely zero evidence TT is capable of either of the above after 6 seasons at the club at this point.

I'm sure what he's done isn't a hanging offence, or else it would be with Vic Pol not the sugar daddy AFL. However, on weight of behavior over the last few seasons, this is probably the staw thats broken the camels back.

There was already plenty of smoke regarding Tarryn and not re-signing with the club, but this might just ensure a mutual parting of ways, with the club being royally ****ed by any team trading for him unless he somehow plays and performs again this season.

JDG allegedly sexually assaulted a woman.

TT hasn’t come near that.
 
I'm not sure how to feel about this. On one hand, there's plenty of evidence that TT is capable of being a tool. On the other, it feels harsh to write a person off altogether based on a pretty vague and anonymous allegation. I guess we need to wait and see what comes of it. I do think whoever leaked this to the media is a frankly despicable person, regardless of the result.

It does feel like it will be difficult for Thomas to remain on our list at this point, even if nothing comes of the allegation from here. There's just so many bad vibes in the media, and plenty of them in the past have been warranted, even if it turns out that this one wasn't (which is a big if!).

My impression is the JDG has done worse things than Tarryn, but also proven himself capable of change to a far greater extent. I'm not sure which is better all told, but there are differences to cherry-pick that make each look worse than the other.

Being a phaurqwit is not yet illegal, there's also no evidence he's ever hit anyone either.

The journos have never stopped sniffing around some of the former complainants. Never.

Mate of mine was dismissed from his high paying expat job in Asia based on allegations of sexual harassment by a female colleague on a night out where all had been drinking. Turns out he had been promoted to a role her boyfriend had been overlooked for. Was physically arrested in front of his wife and young children while awaiting a flight back home. Luckily for him his brother is a very successful barrister in Australia and able to get all charges dropped with CCTV footage showing it was a complete scam. Nevertheless, didn't have his work permit or job reinstated, nor did he receive any compensation for that matter! The boyfriend ended up in my mates role. Who know's what the facts are in Taryn's case, this sh1t does happen!
