Busy year for Brad. Starts off with him screwing the club he previously coached out of decent assistance and now less than 12 months on, trying to poach one our most talented and contracted players. But of course, there has never been a conflict of interest anywhere.... quick let's go back to discussing how much NM are ruining the integrity of the draft!!!

If he was a good operator, right before handing in his resignation at AFL house last year, he would have signed off on a couple of future 1st round PPs for * that they could trade to us now!
... and I think he stole our war chest??

This could be his "Dusty 2013" moment.

Go out and have a look, and come back if/when your prepared to absolutely invest in what we're doing. No more bullshit.

It could be Dusty in 2013, it could be Yoko sending Lennon off on his lost weekend.

I'd give TT 900k x 4 if he gets his tank up to scratch. Imagine a super fit, high class, highly skilled, fast TT terrorizing opposition. My pants get tight thinking about it
800k x 6. Lock him away for good and get cracking at the front loading. Take any FA fishing out of the picture.

After what TT went through its not surprising he was looking for a move to escape or at least distance himself from his troubles. So no surprise no clubs are sniffing around.
But appears from the outside that TT has addressed those issues and matured considerably in the meantime. Id be surprised if he doesnt want to be part of what we're building. That said McKay should be licking his lips too.

The narrative that if you do something wrong it haunts you forever is so tiring. Look at Dusty early on on his career and even Degoey. People can actually pull their head in and mature if they’re allowed to.

Take the risk and give him what he wants I say. He’s not worth any pick imo, he’s elite.

Put a ******* clause in his contract (if there isn’t one already), doesn’t matter, just make it happen.
Say it louder for the people in the nosebleed sections!!!!!

Channel Essendon pushing it hard.

Whatever comes of it, it has shut down the criticisms of Dodoro that were gaining traction.

Now he's mastermind who is going to take poor old Norf's best players for peanuts!!!

+1 for this board's analysis.

The trade Tarryn articles were flying thick and fast from around 6 weeks ago. We all suspected there was a nefarious source and now we've identified it.

Must be fun being a "big" club, running your horse trading via the mainstream media.

I'd even be comfortable with 950k x 6 if he meets the fitness criteria. His last 6 weeks of 2023 were phenomenal with a local footy like aerobic tank.

Have to remember we've got youngsters that will be require significant pay boosts in the next few years.
Id feel a lot more comfortable with 800k and providing him long term security with a club he knows that has his back.

Salary cap isn't an issue at North and hasn't been for years and years. I'm sure we wouldn't be breaking the bank giving TT 950k x 6

Not sure how Tarryn can see things looking better at Tullamarine. I'm also not sure anyone would take on his contract until he can take his game to another level.

*Essendon are delusional.

Im all for using our so called warchest in locking away LDU, TT, Larkey and McKay to long term deals we can front load. As soon as we're on top of that we'll want to be front loading the next wave. The chest isnt limitless.

I agree the chest isnt limitless but its pretty bloody big haha. I'm sure the list managers woudlnt sacrifice a LDU, Sheezel, Wardlaw etc. just to appease 1 player

I'm one of his biggest supporters on here I reckon - nfw I'd be offering that money and years to a player that hasn't shown more than a few months effort at delivering what is required from an elite senior AFL player. That is club crippling stuff if we have to cut him loose.

Wouldn't mind the Instagram superstar Tarryn acknowledging Sheezel and Larkey's achievements like the rest of his teammates.
Managing to criticise him for being on the socials too much but also not enough in the same sentence is quite the achievement.

Well done, friend.

Not a chance I’d give him more than a 3yr deal. Based on 6 decent games. He’s a huge risk. He’s needs a full season at least of not only playing but behaving well.

I actually think we are in a great spot. He’s contracted now, so only trade if it’s a really good deal.

Being he is out of contract next year you can gurantee he will turn it up a notch and dominate to make sure he gets the best $$$. That what he thinks important, just look at his posts and communication on IG.

You won’t see none of that not trying stuff when the money is there for him to get. Then if it does dominate next year and want a trade there will be multiple clubs interested as he would have had a solid 18 months.

I posted last week that I didn't think he'd be on our list next year because he'd be seeking a trade.

I'd rather we trade him out this year than next year, because we'd get more for him now. Next year he'd have the option to walk himself to the PSD and we get nothing.
He is the best talent on our list, but probably the poorest character based on available evidence.
I say we move him on for the best possible deal this year, which has to include a first rounder, we finish that chapter and then close the book on what has been a season from hell, and then we start the pre-season full of positivity with players who WANT to be there.
