Past #26: Tarryn Thomas - Roo until end '24

I love what TT brings to the team, he's still probably our best U23 player at the moment. But he did refuse to chase after we've lost the ball on several occasions on Sunday, while the ball was still in his immediate area. Maybe it's just him, and how he plays. But it doesn't have a good look about it when it happens.

I recall much the same being said of JZ in the early days, took him a little longer than some to build his tank. Once that was sorted his efforts have never been questioned again.

Ive no problems with how TT is tracking, he provides skill, polish, silk and im sure is still building his tank. He's got better and better as the season has gone on.

Single-handedly tried to run Lindsay Thomas out of the game - maybe he's just prejudiced against North Melbourne players with the surname of Thomas who just so happen to be Indigenous.

sometimes people just need to think a little bit harder before commenting, especially from a national broadcaster. And yes they should be across all of this.

I’m struggling to link Healy to racism because he has called TT lazy on several occasions. Can’t stand Healy TBH and he is a regular NM hater, but racist? Jeppers - longest bow drawn on here for a while.

because everything we’ve seen is quiet the opposite, TT seems to be a driven individual, who has spent a lot of time getting a tank capable of playing afl footy.
the coaches seem to have rewarded his efforts with longer stints in the midfield. His last quarters this year have been excellent.

So why would he call him that, what reason can you give?

I personally think Healy is a F-****. But he’s one of many. Our commentators on this game are bloody atrocious.
Out of touch with society, lame, insufferable w***ers, the majority of them. The ones that are ex-players have had smoke blown up their arses their whole lives, so they only think they are right. Their biases for their own clubs is pathetic and unprofessional, so of course their biases in life don’t get challenged either.
