Couple of times he got into the forward and his height looked an advantage.

We should really trial this.
Redman up, francis back, rotate perkins and stringer in the middle.

I really like that.

This is the second time he has hit a form slump, and when he slumps he really slumps. A bit of a roller coaster.

I’m a fan but he looks heavy and slow.

Not running on top of the ground, giving almost no drive or rebound. At his best he charges forward and is a threat to kick goals from around the arc.

Heavy and slow makes me wonder if his groin injury is back :/ he was a totally different player when he was injured in 2020.

Much better yesterday. You could see him last week trying hard to work out of a slump, but the turnovers cost goals and confidence looked shot. Backed himself yesterday and decision making was better plus attacking pinpoint kicking was back.

His kicking is much better going i50 than coming out of d50, much less damaging it if doesn't come off.

I think Maynard is one of the more overrated players in the AFL. Patchy defensively and a really bad kick.

I’m a huge Maynard fan, I’d love him at essendon.

Feel we waste him away from goals. That left foot to guelfi was superb.

Really think he'd solve a few issues if he played HF.
Pressure on ball and opposition, kicks well inside 50 and can dob a goal from distance.
