It is the unknowing how the chooklotto MRP will view the incident.
There are plenty of grounds to appeal if they do give him weeks. It's not clear which incident drew blood for starters. I'm confident there won't be any case to answer out of this.

Don't think that video tells us anything new - as Voss said, he chose to bump and a head clash ensued, which means it has to be looked at. The only relevant factor here is impact - if it's deemed 'insufficient force' then he plays next week, if it's low, medium or high he's probably missing.

Maybe Geelong can do us a return favour after the Thompson/Johnson kneeing incident with the medical report.

We should make it pretty clear that if he is cited we will go down this path.

Brad had a chance to comment on sen today when asked, but chose to just play it safe, saying we'll wait and see basically.

If I were on the North legal team I would refer to the Goodes hit on Selwood and argue that this incident is no different, in fact if anything it is even milder because Harvey didn't get as much elevation as Goodes. There is significant precedential value in the Goodes case, however the Fyfe ruling just confuses the whole situation, I will never understand that one...

I take it straight to a Judge and Jury , should get the case heard in about June:p Just show them vision of Goodes and Franklin. Boomer would be found not guilty in about 30 seconds.

If it gets to the tribunal I hope to heaven we perform better than our recent defensive efforts which have been beyond atrocious.

I'm not confident at all.

I have never known a bloke to bleed like him. He has a bandage on every game. He must have razor blades for eyebrows

If this happened in reverse it would be "great warrior Selwood, what a player. great captain, always in the trenches" blah, blah, blah. Like Dal Santo copped a black eye last week, there has been no highlighting, no camera shots, a silent C7. AFL is full of people with club allegiances that run their own agendas.

Absolutely nothing in it.
Absolutely. They are comparing Boomers clash with Selwood to the Mat Fife incident... but there is no comparison. The guy Fife hit went flying because of the high impact, but Selwood never moved even an inch because the impact was so low it would not wake up an insomniac lol. Watch them both closely and you will see. If they give Boomer a week for this love tap, it will be a sad day for football in general. Its heading for the faireys I'm afraid. Might be a good time to give it away and follow table tennis where nobody can get hurt.

He wont go.

We are being paranoid. Barely any contact. It was barely even a bump.

Jack was contesting a ball and copped 4.

Jack was attempting a smother and copped 4?

it is why thre is a healthy distrust of the MRP.

Bit disappointed this is detracting from our enormous win..

Go rooboys.
The good news is that we have proved we can do it without Boomer if we had to. I always maintain that for every player missing... another takes his place. Maybe Jacobs/ Mullet might be hoping poor Boomer gets a week lol. I wonder who might replace him if the the worst happens?
