l think that having Glandular fever really did hurt Will regarding his speed and running capacity...but l would still keep him on our list..

Honestly with 3 games left of what been a miserable season, I’d like to see Will get a run for all 3 in the middle with free rein to play as he sees fit.

I can only assume Will’s well documented illness has had a major impact on him. I remember seeing him play one game for Caulfield Grammar and he was a jet.

My point that someone contradicted saying he was too slow, would be Will could be a very good small forward if given the chance.

Wells would not doubt burn him over 20 plus metres. As would others. But explosiveness over 20 metres is very handy as a small forward.

Daniels had the wheels to be an andrew mcleod type mid but alas, still a very good player.

Right now, he may be behind a couple of players. He hasn’t had his best season and he would know that.

People laughed at me when I said second year blues, however with Covid year of footy, his illness.. it literally set him back 2 years.
