Without giving too much away, please tell me it's not all about Collingwood.

The best thing was that the pies blokes they spoke to where all massive spuds on the day!!! Maxwell, Harry O and Dawes!!! Loved it!!! :D

I was a bit underwhelmed really. Most of the good bits had been leaked (shown in promos).

Lonergan's input was very interesting - seems a real rock. Massive unit too when you see him close up. Trav V. also looked more of a bright spark than he appears on field. Jimmy is just understated and understands everything.

Dawes was very impressive. He spoke from his heart and didn't hide his disappointment or try to make excuses. We know from 2008 what losing a GF means - Chris Dawes put it into words better than I have heard before what a player feels. His words were honest and telling. Without his input the show would have been trite. Well done - I hope to see him play lots of great footy against everyone except us.

The rest is best enjoyed re-watching the game itself.

'I missed the opening goal as I was in line at the bar" - pisser of a line from Moons :D

I thought his best line was "if it's a draw I might have to play next week, I better stop drinking..... Nah". I will probably get shot down for posting this, but credit to Dawes, Maxwell and O'Brien for appearing in the doco. I can't talk about '08 now, (although two premierships since has helped) and I don't even play football. I can't imagine how uncomfortable it would be for them to re-live it in front of the cameras again, just 6 months later.

I thought it was great and very balanced between the two sides. Great to hear from the coaches too, both very honest with neither downgrading their opponents at any stage.

Really agree with the nuts that Dawes showed to basically state that he was a witness on the day, not through lack of trying, he just had a shocker. Yes he had some mates but he didn't hold back.

Gutsy effort. Just by the way he was talking, you wonder if it's something that will haunt him or inspire him.

Would've loved them to show Trav's effort from start to finish with his last goal, edits just don't do it justice.

Apparently channel 7 are replaying it next saturday night!

I enjoyed seeing the personality of all the players, they didn't speak in the usual cliches, from the reactions to Meatloaf and everything the game meant to them and others.

Really enjoyed it and felt so inspired and moved by Lonergan's story I shed a tear. What a journey he's been through to now become arguably our most reliable defender. Also thought Malthouse and the Pies players were very gracious. Would have liked to see Scott's pre-game speech to the boys. I can only imagine it would have been pretty inspirational. Overall a balanced and well made doco; I hope someone will upload it so I can see it again.

Yeah the wait is killing me CA08!

Would love to see the whole game from the boundary line camera they kept showing footage from and whatever other quality cameras they took footage from. Awesome documentary (so far.. 20min left.. I don't want it to end!)

Who stood on Maxwells foot?

7mate had it scheduled for 10:30pm but it's not on!

Where do you live? The 7Mate guide said it was megamonsters when you switched it on, but in reality it was the "2 hour doco".
Watched it and loved every second of it. I'll copy it to flash drive tomorrow and try to figure out how to upload.

I watched it tonight as it was on after the NAB cup final in Adelaide. I thought it was great. Very chilling accounts from both sides. It would have been so hard for some of those Collingwood players to talk about it, as it would have been for any player from a club which lost a GF. I could only sit through it and think "thank f#@k I barrack for the Cats". The best part for me though was listening to Tom Lonergan. No one on that field that day deserved a permiership medallion more than he did. Overall I emplore any Cats fan to watch this doco if you haven't already.

Loved Scarlo's comment after Stevie J and Bartel and Lingy were saying they felt sorry for the pies players after the game. Scarlo just said 'nah...no sympathy'.

Absolutely, classic Scarlett! Take no prisoners. Champion!

Awesome doco, wished it went for longer, 3 or 4 hours would have been good! Shed a little tear. What an amazing team Geelong is!
