If Australia were any good they'd have lost hardly any wickets in the process. They need to wake up and fix the top order, as the lower order won't be able to rescue them EVERY single time.

They’ve just been sort of ‘hanging on’ since their WTC win: they’ve had that home test loss to Bangladesh, didn’t take much from the SA series, split the series with England albeit they created a bit of history with the follow-on win:

They’ve lost Boult and will lose Southee soon and now Wagner.

They DO have a bit to like with the new players coming through - Jamison, Sears, Henry has found his feet at test level, Ravindra, Mitchell, Philips is worth persevering with, Conway etc.

But it’s like they’re going to have to start from scratch to a degree. That will hurt them a lot
