100% Sydney would have taken Brown with pick #18 the pick just after Richmonds #17
That was leaked either before or after the draft but i remember some commentator mentioning that once Richmond read out Tom Browns name the swans recruiters all were disappointed and upset

Jake Soligo was the player Richmond were linked to but passed on him and looks like he will be the Value of the 21' draft

Imagine that we'd skipped him in the draft, like many have suggested we should've at the time and since.

There's no doubt we would now be mentioning him in the same sentence as other gun Swans youngsters - "Why can't we draft blokes who use it so well like Gulden, Brown, Warner, Campbell etc" - and he would've already played in a grand final.

I don't think he has an obvious position TBH.

He looks like a guy that could play as a back pocket, roaming half back, maybe a medium interceptor, possibly on the wing, maybe even a high half forward if he had the craft. Don't think he has the grunt to play inside mid though (not yet anyway).

He's hard to place so he might just stay as that medium defender long term.
Yep 100%
Bit of an enigma as to where best possie is. Classy ball user

I remember the club saying at the time they were targeting kids who could kick well which is why we also took Banks and Clarke.

Someone is going to mention Cliff Young soon again right ? And show the pic of ol Cliffy in his Wellies shuffling along. I love BF
