Hands off! You've had your turn :p
Never forget when Hale slammed home 10 goals at Kardinia Park in the wet. It rained, & rained, & rained til the cats came home. And to win by 10 goals that day which kick-started the Cats revival was too good. I'm still vivid over the fact we let Haley go. Imagine him with Goldy & H-Bomb roaming the ground. It would put the fear of dog into every opponent.

Man That was the best loss ever! Seemed to be a cult figure at the club maybe wants to come back. Finally he realizes what a sh** club Hawthorn are and turns back to the best club in the land

Never let the facts get in the way of a good story ;)

Hale kicked 8 at Kardinia Park on a dry, overcast day in 2008 but the Cats were never trouble by us winning by near on 6 goals. We beat them there in 2007 by 18 points in a game David Hale didn't even play in.

But what if ??? We kept Haley and got rid of Hamish? What if?

We'd have a ruckman that couldn't get a game, because Goldy was too busy pwning everyone with 80-90% game time.

Did that get us Harper or Blacky that trade? No complaints here.

If he could replicate that this friday night against the cats that'd go a long way to helping his current mob break their hoodoo...:(
He seems like a good bloke :thumbsu:

Met him once at a supporter day when he played for us, can confirm, a down-to-earth dude.

I hope big Krusty wins the Norm Smith medal.*

* Providing the miraculous doesn't occur and we make it.

edit Tef to OTT (thats not to say I don't agree)

I'm not complaining its just the long ol argument would pop up if we were to trade away Hamish this comimg trade week in October...........and also referring to Brads earlier plan in having resting ruck man in the forward line......my meaning is that Haley is performing beautifully in that role with the dawks. You have to admit we all hold our breaths when we see Goldy goes down and takes that extra amount of time to get up during a game.

That's true.

Majak is improving by the week from what I hear, and we have Drew/Lachie to pinch hit if worse comes to worse. Even Benny Mabon, who's got ages to go, goes okay from what I've seen.

Depth is something I don't worry about when it comes to height at North.

Good luck to Haley. He gave us good service - until the last year or two when he used to wrestle with short people and fall over too much. Bad habits!!!

The move has been good for his football and for us.
