Chadwiko = Astute. Gee, we'd take 37 now. What the hell happened???

I never really rated him at all. I thought 37 was being generous. Gee, i'd take 37 too, now.

Wellsy will be delivering to Wayne tomorrow and I for one can see him kicking three goals to shut all us clowns up. :thumbsu:

bad call

it is goldys rucking and general around the ground work + petries great form at full forward that has ended hales future at this club

good call, I think goldie shows more athletisicm and has a greater arobic capacity to move around the ground than hale...
He is younger and more mobile and he keeps improving....
a couple of more pre seasons into goldie and how know what he could be...

Hale is a real question mark. He reminds me of Matthew Capuano. I suspect Hale will ultimately not be good for North - that long body will likely get injured at some point, and struggle to get back to full pace. All in all, at his very best he is a reasonable marking tall, but even a little below his best he is not sufficiently competitive for a key position player. That we just re-signed him is a very ordinary sign.

Or put another way...

Enigmatic tall, risky long tall, reasonable marking tall

The highlighted bit sums up Hale to me. I'm sure the coaching staff felt it was something they could improve in him, but I think his loss of confidence made that a very difficult thing to do within this year of upheaval.

He'd want a massive preseason and start to 2010, if he's still with us, or the OP will be "Good Call, DVC's call, FINAL CALL!"

But has he not just re-signed? To cull him post-season would surely involve a ludicrous payout that North most certainly can ill-afford?
