Did we actually draft Harry Armstrong or did I imagine it? Hasn't been in a single photo or training video and no one has mentioned him in reports and this thread has less pages than a birthday card.
Yeah I don’t really hear much about him either. I came here for some news but seems like there isn’t much going around about him

JOSH SMILLIE ON …

Which fellow draftee has caught his eye: “I think Harry Armstrong and Jasper Alger are two who haven’t really surprised me because I know how good they are as footballers, but they have trained the house down. You see Harry flying for marks in the forward line or you see Jasp getting those ground balls and kicking goals and applying pressure up forward.”

Looked a bit raw tonight, but eager to fly for the footy and compete which was great to see. Let's get some experience into him and lift his confidence up.
Clearly really nervous. His set shot at goal illustrated that perfectly. Poor bastard's heart rate would've been at 200bpm I reckon.

I thought he was more of an agile key forward than a goddamn unit

I’m not sure if he debuts round alongside lynch and Bauer

He'll be very good for you , just can't expect miracles at that age , also with the way your list is at the moment the ball won't be coming down a lot . I would still love to have seen 3 flags in a row and a couple of years of pain . Once again sorry to intrude .

I actually think it would be better for his development at this stage, if he plays more time in the VFL with Faull and Sims as the third ruck/forward. It would enable him (and the others) more opportunities with the ball coming in more times, it would help them learn to play together as a forward unit and it would enable to to build greater confidence against weaker opponents.

Armstrong still has to learn how to be relevant and dangerous when there is no space in the F50. That's difficult at AFL level, moving from playing on kids and with rules to prevent that. The next step for him should be playing against men at Reserve Level, then he can move up. For a player like Armstrong, confidence is key and the last thing we want to do is destroy his.

I would play Bauer and Faucett in the AFL team until these three smash the door down with the standard of their games, later in the year.
