Why should there be though? Black's manager has stated he will look for a trade for his client and Black wants out, its not as if his manager made it up.
A number of people are suggesting he never went because he wants out. That is not correct. Had the wedding been on a different weekend he would have gone. The same with Lachie.

North need him at his best come 2017. Id say 2016 will be the last year for Petrie and maybe Waite which leaves BBrown as our lone key forward. Majak may come on take take a spot but it's slim pickings after. Hopefully Durdin can come on but that won't be for another few years.

I don't like to talk ill of players, but if Waite and Dal had crazy injuries come round 1, I think our team could look a little better. Black could be a great player.
How is replacing good players with inferior players making our team better? Perhaps younger, but younger =/= better.

Hey Black, have fun playing on the VFL for the next 2 years
**** mate that's pretty ordinary. People can lose focus and acquire a less than perfect attitude for any number of reasons.
Black has frustrated everyone but he's still one of ours - don't know that we achieve anything by slagging him off?
Back him in.

A good kick up the clacker.

Players don't always have linear development so he may turn things around. It really comes down to his attitude, self-belief and staying healthy (e.g., no injuries). Happy to keep him on the list because his trade value is currently below the basement.

Exactly the point that is often missed. This isn't fifa where players grow by x amount every year until they reach their potential.

He has shown he can perform at afl level before, so I see no reason why he couldn't go back to the form that had us raving a couple of years ago.

My biggest concern is that be doesn't seem to have a role in our team at the moment. Waite Petrie and brown are completely different to him, so when he comes in to replace one of them he is playing a role he isn't suited to.

I think he is much more of a leading forward than any of our others, someone who marks outside 50 and then pinpoints a pass inside 50.

Time will tell.

Huge pre-season ahead. However I'm not getting my hopes up considering how disappointed Sydney were with his attitude.
Bit of a coincidence that a bloke that cant break onto the nmfc forward line was trying to convince a past champion of the nmfc forward line to make him an offer to leave the chance of ever breaking into the nmfc forward line?
