Sheedy put him in the back pocket and he ended up a very very valuable contributor in shutting down small forwards ..complete with bone crunching tackles that hurt blokes. Eg: Jeff Farmer.

Do not think he struggles in big games. He struggles when he has to play as a deeper defender. I like him when he plays wing or forward. I think he is okay playing a looser half back flank role but he does not do as well playing tighter defence.

All his mistakes came up the ground Saturday though. Definitely his worse game for the club, though I doubt he’ll be dropped.

Not a lot to come in. Cahill had limited impact and Ham made just as many mistakes.

I thought he was ok. Halved quite a few contests which a lot of the time is all thats required. He's a depth player playing a depth role while we have injuries to McGrath, Snelling, Shiel and Caldwell

If Snelling is fit Cahill probably gets dropped

All I can see is at least he competed unlike Ham and Cahill. Hooker was non competitive also.

Unfortunately there is nothing else to come in, we don't have 3 or 4 ready made players.

The cupboard is bare….not only is there nobody to replace him, there are 2-3 in the team who would go before him.

He's really good in the contest and can mark well. Easily best 22. A few tackle errors are excused, an absolute workhorse.
