Cahill is probably coming in for one of McGrath/Zaka. There's no chance Guelfi goes given how deep our injuries are.
We get somewhat of a reprieve post bye, Smith, Draper, Wright, Cutler should all be fit to play.

So apparently he moved to defence to cover Hind, who moved forward to cover Perkins, who moved to the midfield to cover McGrath, who was obviously subbed out due to injury (per Rutten's post-match conference).

So I'm guessing this wasn't the match up he was expecting or intended for, and he looked correspondingly poor. Not sure it's really a reflection of him though, other than to say it's obviously not ideal.

huge is a wild overstatement. did he even get it 20 times? no goals? handful of tackles? yeah it was on ok game.
It's not his job to get twenty touches or kick goals. He's there for his effort and one percenters, which were absolutely crucial to us beating West Coast.

Do not think he struggles in big games. He struggles when he has to play as a deeper defender. I like him when he plays wing or forward. I think he is okay playing a looser half back flank role but he does not do as well playing tighter defence.
