He kicked four that day...Also played in 1986 win over Essendon..no 40.. best year 1985 played about a dozen games

Nick got another game the following week and was equally useless. He didn't play again until 2019, and it wasn't until 2021 that he became an asset. Who wants to give Tyler four more years?

It's a quiet trend that big blokes taken mature age, still need some time to adapt to AFL level. Scooter looked miles off in his first year, Kal Dawson has shown the benefit of time as well. Big Benny Brown also had a slowish start before he broke out in the * final.
Sam Collins was drafted 22 by Freo, cut and then established himself as a 25 year old at the Suns. Jordan Butts took a couple of years to establish himself.
No need to throw the baby out of with the bathwater yet.

Tyler had a dirty day, but he needs a bit more time before we can write him off.
