Let's hope he can turn it on and there will be a flow of goals.
Could be a watershed game for the club. Just worry they might throw him back and we leak a few goals.

Ok, think I got that out of my system.
Expect he’ll run hot and cold over the course of the game

Fawcett is a perfect example of making sure a kid develops and has confidence before he is promoted. I loved his game at VFL last week, you can see that he immediately felt like he belonged and was ready. Even if he bombs out this week in the AFL, he has the platform and direction now to build his game into a quality forward.

I loved his goal sense and attack on the ball - seems to be a common trait with all the KP kids we've selected recently. ✅

was who i was hoping would replace lynch through suspension even if it's only 1 game he can get experience and footage to work on

fawcett being back up is why i was secretly hoping lynch didn't get off his charge lmao

allowing Lynch to not travel and have another week off won't hurt either you'd think ....

As we start to drip feed some of these kids into the team, I hope he can tap into something inside himself and plumb it to the surface. I find it irrigating that we're playing this mob at their basin of a ground again. I wouldn't say I was flush with confidence.

Anyway, hopefully Lalor doesn't pop his hose out again this week ! I'm looking for a sprinkling of green shoots again this match and I think if Faucett gets a vice like grip on the footy, it will go a long way to avoiding having to flood their backline.

Ok Ok I will show myself out.

I'm finding the whole thing a bit draining anyway.

I love the enthusiasm and optimism over another kid being given a chance and sticking with youth at the selection table....

Can we please hold onto this after half a dozen beers and the possibility of being 10 goals down vs Port in the gameday thread :sweatsmile:

Not really, he was injured for most of last year lol

Only played 3 games in the VFL.
