Will always be a player we look back on and wonder WTF happened.

Nah was a petulant sook I think we all know this. Will play for the dees next year probably

yep..
will always have a lingering what happened/why didn't it work? to it.
-same as (to a lesser decent) Troy Taylor..
Do hope another team throws him a life raft.

He’s just not a good consistent footballer and sooks it up

He had heaps of opportunities at senior level to prove himself. He might get lucky and get on another list but maybe he needs to drop a level and work out what he wants to do

Doesnt defend
Plays for frees
Pretends he's injured constantly
Low football IQ

He's quick and knows where the goals are. 25 games is a lot better than most, but we can't have someone like him clogging up the list.

“25 games is a lot better than most”. Is about right. Only 60-70 kids out of hundreds, will be selected this draft. Many won’t be, because (perhaps like Noah) they struggle with the “defend” bit. But Noah lasted 5 seasons, and two seasons after Dimma suggested he take a good hard look at himself, he was still there. This guy showed how hard it is to make it in this game, and also how hard it is to stay there. Good luck man, good work.

I’m glad he’s gone because he was the hardest watch I can ever recall for a long time Richmond fan at games.
Doesn’t mean I don’t hope for his own sake he can’t knuckle down and go get a crack somewhere else although unlikely I think.
Go to Norf and play with his twin brother Stephenson now that would be worth watching!

However, I believe it is highly likely that Cumberland will be playing AFL for another club next year or at least be on a list. Carlton and Port are two clubs starved of half forwards and he could sneak onto either of their lists.
No chance

Joins a long line of players who had a lot of talent but just didn't have the right temperament or attitude to make it as a a professional footballer. Connors, Stack, Cumbo, Troy Taylor etc.
You forgot Relton Roberts

we handled him poorly
Dimma debuted Cumbo vs Suns, as sub, late 22. For Dusty basically who didn't play for 5,6 weeks. Came on early for Lynch. Cumbo & MRJ were good, still missed a lot of shots. Castagna was worse. Still had Aarts, Lambert, Edwards on their last legs.
we lost by 2 pts.

Cumbo's final was poor. another close loss. An injured JG & Prestia in the final, they bring in Taranto & Hopper.

2023, George quit and Mansell shoved up fwd with Bolton, MRJ Graham, & Taranto & Hopper and an in form. Dusty came into form. They want pressure fwds, and Cumbo aint that.

Cumbo under Dimma, Mini & now Yze had Green, Bolton, Dusty, MRJ, Campbell up fwd. 3 coaches haven't rated Cumbo.
I was hoping he'd be a Baiey Fritch type player, have to be at another club now.
At punt road they love small fwds who run and chase. Even with Dusty, Bolton, JG, Baker off the list they didn't retain Cumbo.

Bit rough on Cumberland here. The others were all shit humans. I don't think Cumberland had an attitude problem, he's just a dumb footballer.

i know what he's delivered or not delivered - but i would've given him another - he's got it, either he doesn't know it or how to tap into it properly at AFL level .... yet

It's not like it's a long line in our forward stocks either ....
