Apologies for the intrusion - I am really perplexed by the decision to give Colina another year, particularly given your current draft hand.

If I'm not mistaken you currently have 8 list spots free (and 8 top 30 draft picks), no Cat A rookie slots (assuming Tylar Young upgrade) and 1 Cat B rookie slot.

Colina has already had 4 years as a Cat B rookie, so this delisting means the recommitement is as a Cat A rookie. To fit Colina on the Cat A list you'd have to promote someone like Seth Campbell to the senior list. Now there is only 7 senior vacancies and 8 picks...

Seems strange to commit to Colina in this scenario, essentially broadcasting the need to lose a pick either by trading out or combining to trade up...

Just keep the pick and take Dodson instead if you want ruck coverage...?

We're not going to take 8 picks to the draft, It's pretty common knowledge that we'll trade a couple out into next year. North would know this. Most clubs will be lining up to get another 1st rounder this year. Now we wait for the best offer, and North won't want to miss out.

We have 9 Primary List Spots available (Grimes, Dusty, Baker, Rioli, Bolton, Naismith, Graham, Cumberland, Pickett all removed).

We will upgrade one (Ben Miller presumably as he has a contract for 2025 and been on the Cat A list for the maximum time), which leaves us with the 8 open list spots for our 8 picks.

Then on draft night my guess is we package two picks to trade up and trade out one of 23/24 for a F1. Then promote two additional players off the Cat A list and take Colina and an SSP.

Last year he came 3rd in the 2k time trial on returning young players. Seems that's enough to get a 4th (not 5th) year. Bizarre, not at all.
