It is amazing that people think Mc Mahon and Lower are the next big thing and miss what Harro really did for this side. He has more talent than those two put together. Harris looked quicker this year and more confident to take a run which is an improvement. Like the entire midfield this year, he just lacked the ability to make and impact, like our entire midfield (bar Harvey).

He definitely went down hill after the mid year blow up. Knowing his side of the story, I have sympathy for him. He believes he can play more game time, Dean wanted him to get a clearance for every minute on the ground. Compared to other players, including his namesake, he got a very raw deal from the coaching panel.

Pretty annoyed with this. I was hoping things would get cleared up after the season. Harris has been one of my favourite players for years.

Same here. I can't understand the blind faith for Laidley its incredible here on BF. Harris is more important to the side than Laidley.

we could also change our name to St Kilda and let the tail wag the dog for the next 20 years...

if Harro wants to move on... well then all the club can do is work for the best possible trade... no point in holding onto him as he appears to play to his feeling way too much...

in all honesty I believe Harro has stagnated and has not applied himself enough to build on his poor endurance level...

Dude, there have been worser situations when it comes to player coach relationships that have been patched up, I'm sure.

At the end of the day, we aren't going to go & sell our house for only 10k if its worth 100k, are we? So why would we settle for shit return if a player is contracted? Don't bring up this bad blood bullshit either. Because its AFL, not Netball. Both player & coach will get over it & move on.

No-one knows how badly Dean and Daniels relationship has been damaged throughout the year and I'd say it's so bad that Harro has requested a trade from the club to get away from it. I'd say it's pretty bad.

I'm not saying we should settle for a shit return on him, but the fact is you guys all want is a first rounder for him and he is not - worth - a - first - rounder to any other club and anything less than that (i.e pick 20 from WCE) should not be considered a shit return.

I think most of us will agree that he had weaknesses, (both speed and endurance being 2 of those), but at the same time I can't remember a player with as good ball handling skills both below his knees and in a congested situation since Greg Williams, I know this may sound strange considering the players standing in the game, but if only Harro had at least the endurance his standing would be so much higher. The likes of a Sam Mitchell would be playing in his shadow, but unfortunately it is not to be.

I sometimes think Harro came into the game 20 years to late.

I hope he turns it around at another club and Laidley is made to choke on this one.

I love harro and yeah we all know has been clashing with Laidly for many years...He has been constantly benched in games where he is being dominant, which frustrated him no end b/c there was not much else he can do, but I think there is alot more too it...I dont like to start rumours and only report on things i know 100% true...Without mentioning who, Harris was in an altercation with another player on last years footy trip and I have it on good authority that since then a trade has been top priority...So I dont think Laidly should be soley blamed although his mismanagment of HArro's ability is obvious...

Good luck wherever u go wiz, no doubt u will be a key player for any club you go to...

It's well documented, proven in fact, that clubs such as Collingwood are extremely interested in Harro.

Like I said, they may not have offered anything, but there is certainly interest.
