my opinion,he'll finish his contract with RFC n with season '25 & beyond consider all 2-3year offers that come his way,could possibly stay depending on the vibe with new coach and finals possibilities etc,wouldnt be suprised if he left either at end of '24 n tried his hand somewhere else, be dissappointing if he did leave but what can u do

I know there is talk every year about Dusty leaving but I just dont see how a move to the Suns is even possible:

• Dusty is on over a mill a year, suns wont want to pay that after doing a salary dump last few years.
• Suns need draft points capital to snare those 3 kids, so even if we paid part of Dusty's salary they would have to then give us draft picks reducing their points available.

I dont care what anyone thinks but even in his 30's Dusty is worth a 1st rounder and that still short changing us.

This blokes not getting younger. I hope he's matured enough to realise he has responsibilities. Primarily he needs to either settle down by finding the perfect female with all the athletic traits. Or he needs to go to the Paris Olympics and hook up with dozens of world class athletes so that by 2040 the Father/Son thread is exploding with news on the 18 father son prospects that Dusty reared in Paris. Imagine a team of 18 Dusty's? So he's gonna have to hook up with some sprinters, endurance runners, a couple basketballers, maybe a few divers to create forward pockets?

Can't remember which way it goes but apparently all the world class cyclists have 90% of one gender owing to always generating heat from all that Lycra? So if it makes boys Bonds need to hook him up. If it's girls Bonds need to reverse engineer it and put ice packs in especially for him. One thing guaranteed is he plays his 300th. Would love to see him extend but if he leaves good luck he owes us nothing.... Apart from the breeding program and a promise he doesn't play 100 games for the next mob. As his recent form has proven he's an absolute beast competitor. I can't fathom the club having to ever carry him unlike Edwards, Cotch and Riewoldt. It's not like pace was his strength anyway.

Exactly, Cotchin and Jack aren't his only friends from the club. Plus Cotch will probably be part of the club in some capacity post retirement

Martin might want to take on a leadership role at the club to help the young players.

Richmond won’t let him leave this off season. Would cost the club $5m and I’m not even joking.

10,000 members wouldn’t renew if he’s out - we’d still have 90,000 member, but not 100K= $2m
We miss the huge crowd on his 300th = $1m
300th game merchandise = $1m
Other marketing benefits in 2024 (think the sponsors piggy backing off the 300th celebration etc…= $1m

They ain’t costing themselves $5m and paying half his salary so another club can reap the rewards.

Pendlebury has played a long time never really been banged up, I don't see why Martin can't play a long time.
