Jade on a GIF rampage today

If Langford can manage 20ish disposals a game alongside Myers and Watson then the outside players like Zaharakis are going to get excellent supply.

Would love to see some toughness to his game along with his new frame in 2017.
He has the poise, but can he bring the steel?
Very excited..

Had a bit of the ''Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane'' about him on Thursday. Some of that disposal, wooooof. Expecting much better in the next game.

He was a long way off the pace, even for a pre-season session of circle work.

Laverde must seriously be stinking it up if he was left out of that side based on the shit that was dished up by most of the players who have had great pre-seasons.

I'm confident that Langford will become a good or very good player in the long term but he may not fully breakout this year. He's massively improved his body shape and size but the results on field may take a bit of time to come. The good news is he's consistently getting better each year but he's not like say Zac Merrett where there was huge leaps each year its more like good consistent improvement.

I'd still keep him in the best 22 for most games this year though. We need to be developing players with his size through the midfield, particularly considering his pace is quite decent as well (although perhaps not quite as good as when he was a rake). Also can play forward to good effect as well which improves his chances.

Ithought he'd play a bit more inside mid; don't really see the point in bulking him up if he's going to be on a wing

It appeared as though he was running with Do Goey in the last and got caught spectating being caught behind him and the goals a few times due to being stagnant as opposed to De Goey hitting the contest. This defensive side of his game will come with time and will greatly benefit from playing alongside the older guys, particularly Hocking.

made some mistakes but did some good things. We need to continue to play this kid as he has so much talent.

Sort of agree, I think he is a late birthday , so could almost be considered his 2nd year. Also I am sure he will be a terrific mid , but he's moved into a new role and also had to add a shitload of weight quickly. He is a very very good user of the ball , but buggered everything up last week, but how well was he going a few weeks before from what I read.

Really impressed with how he weights the ball to players running towards goal in the 50.
He's such a weird player, it's hard to nail down his strengths and weaknesses, but there's certainly "something about him".

beyond what the coaching staff see in him. Slow misses sitters in front of goal.
Poised, skilled, gets a hard ball, great kick, good hands off the top of my head.
