On top of Mahony, Spicer, bloody Turner now, Curtis isn't big either? Slightly different players the last 3 but only so many spots for so many modern-day undersized players.
In the middle Lazzaro, Phillips, Powell are all smaller than the average mid these days too.

Doesn't mean the kid doesn't have great character but you've really got to question if a combo of Drury + Turner is what we needed as a list.

Have coached against him a few years ago, amazing work ethic and footy iq. A great team player as well. Apparently the sort of kid that is first on the track, then picking up the cones and footies for the coaches at the end of the night.

One thing that hasn’t been mentioned in here is that despite his height he is actually quite a long kick of the footy. Seen him kick a few goals from on 50 this year which 3 quarters of our list can’t even do.

Like what i see from the clips. 1 touch player and kicks it to advantage. Bit of zip. Already looks like he can kick a goal >45m out...which is further than 90% of our squad.
