He weighs less than 90kg so I can see why they don't see him as a solid KPD. But I think he's earned his chance.

I don't even think his 1v1s were that bad? The main thing going for him is he has wheels. That's foreign in our backline right now.

That's a big weight differential considering he's taller.

Side note I reckon people put too much stock into height and not enough into weight. You often hear people saying "X is 2cm shorter" as if it means a lot but they won't bat their eyes at a 5kg differential which is pretty huge.

Id play him as the third tall.

KPF or KPD? I didn't watch them on the weekend so dunno if they moved him forward

He has put on more weight over the last month. Still needs more of course.

He has also been given more responsibility and been taking the biggest opposition forward in the VFL in more recent times. It was previously Bonar/Davis/Lienert on the biggest forward.

They've moved him forward last week, he spent the whole game there.

Doesn’t discount your implied point that Dawson hasn’t been given a crack, but Bonar played limited game time; he will have to play a full game to qualify for selection
