Mod Notice

The level of vitriol and frankly toxic culture in this thread is getting out of hand. As such, the thread will be monitored actively for posters who drag down the quality of posting for all others, and they will have their access to the thread removed.

Further, reference to TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) will no longer be allowed. Much like other tropes of that nature, it serves as a conversational barrier and fall-back point for people to simply sling mud. That's unacceptable.

Thanks.

She's that trembling of hand she had to "pre-tear" the documents.
Haha so what. She’s smart and she’s tough and she’s taken the fight up to him. Crikey, when this is all done and dusted, Donnie will probably end up leaving Melania and running off with Nancy. They are like an old married couple already let’s face it.

Another more recent one

This Administration has a history in overstating Job Creation and GDP numbers.
His Tax Policies have , of course , fundamentally altered the structure of the Economy but not in the desired way.
The Budget deficit is ballooning out of control which shouldn't be happening if the Trump rhetoric around a booming economy and record low unemployment is on the money.
Corporations have used the Tax restructure to improve their balance sheets thru share buy backs and improved profit and not invested in productivity to boost growth. 91 F500 companies paying zero tax is a huge concern or should be if you're a tax paying punter in the US.
Trump is racking up record debt and with GDP around 2% has F**All chance of repaying any of it.
He's running it like Trump Corp and the results won't be pretty - can the US file for Chapter 11 ? ;)

In the words of the great Raydio, "You Can't Change That":

Yes, that is true, but the Impeachment is what's going to be remembered in history just like Bill Clinton's. Clinton's acquittal is hardly ever mentioned. It's the Scarlet Letter, I, that will remain that Trump can never run away from. Unlike Hester Pyrnne, Trump's letter will never be interpreted in any other way.

Trump will have the stain of Impeachment on his Presidency until the end of time. Perhaps you do not comprehend the gravity of that. History books will always record that, no matter what happens in November. His legacy will always be tainted for generations to see. He joins the elite, Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton.

7th Grade American History Question 1: Mr Chicago1: "What three US Presidents have been impeached?"
Student answer: Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton and Donald J Trump

7th Grade American History Question 2: Mr Chicago1: "What three US Presidents have been acquitted?"
Student answer: Huh?

:p

FFS he hates Trump. What else was he going to do?
The same as all the other republicans who hate the trumpy? Zip it and keep your job. You don’t actually think they all love him? It’s easy to jump on the trump train-you don‘t have to work at it, nothing has to change, you don‘t have to think. Donnie is so sure of himself, so confident-it’s cool to leave it all in his hands. I get it, and so do the republicans. Doesn’t mean all of them are happy about it of course. Plenty of decent republicans out there who are taking the easy road for the moment.

as Trump cultists seem to be trying act like it's a shock.
This is actually comforting. To know that so many people survive being that stupid. It makes you realise that nothing matters - you don’t need to be anything more than a total idiot and you can still thrive.

It’s liberating.

That's if the Democrats are dumb enough to go through this process again.

It's worked a treat so far.

they have nothing else, soon enough within a generation or two they will be like the Labour party in the UK, the party of Islam relying on mass voting fraud to hold power.

Just like here, America and the UK, they don't actually stand for or help the aspirational working and middle class.

Life is random did you not know that?

It's even more comforting to know that many of them are Darwin Award Winners in Waiting.
