Can you explain gaslighting to me, a bit?

When you say 'we will get Trump again', and you say it's because of the left.
But you qualify it by saying that the 'not left' are also to blame, because they can be 'rude and petty'. It leaves me a bit lit... as if by gas.

Yes or no. But you can expand if you like.
Did the Capitol Complex get assaulted by a huge group of Trump supporters, that included white supremacists?
Trump is rude and petty..... I meant that, he is!

Gaslighting is to convince people the things they see and know are not actually happening

The dangerous shift in Republican ranks was on display recently when Kyle Rittenhouse, who was 17 when he killed two people at an anti-racism protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, argued that he acted in self-defence and was acquitted on all charges.

People where roiting that night and then you get constantly get told it was a protest. This is the BS people are sick of and they go to the guy that calls it out rather than pussy dicking around it like a Romney.

Trump - biggest bloke in his class but refused to play contact sport. When made a Cadet Captain in final year, all the leadership traits of a sponge, hid in his bedroom, Cadet Bone Spurs then repeatedly shirked his duty, whilst peers stood up. Whole adult life chose to forfeit on paying bills rather than tightening his belt and paying off debts. Hid behind his father even in his fifties. Belittling handicapped people and women. Ripped off VA charities.

Yep, certainly a real man. As tough as they come.

Anyone still supporting Trump is dangerously delusional.

The dangerous shift in Republican ranks was on display recently when Kyle Rittenhouse, who was 17 when he killed two people at an anti-racism protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, argued that he acted in self-defence and was acquitted on all charges.

Rittenhouse was invited to Trump’s estate in Florida, elevated to heroic status by rightwing media and feted by Republicans. Taylor Greene even sponsored a bill to award him a congressional gold

Larry Jacobs, director of the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance at the University of Minnesota, said: “Within the Republican party, there’s a battle for leverage in terms of winning primaries and influencing primaries. Then you’ve got Donald Trump.

“He’s sitting there as a kind of monarch waiting for his subjects to come and pledge their fealty to him and one way to do it is to be the tough man to promise to take to the barricades to defend the 2020 election results, as Donald Trump sees it.”

He added: “We’re into the kind of outrage culture in the Republican party. There’s almost a competition as to who can be more outrageous, more vicious and threatening. It’s a race to the bottom.

“It’s a completely bonkers political party. This is one of the most dysfunctional and dangerous political parties in the democratic world. You’ve got Hungary, you’ve got Austria. There are places where you’ve had a surge on the right and I would say this is comparable. And maybe even a further extreme, if you look at what elected members of the US Congress are saying and doing.”

No 💩 sherlock
“Hindsight being 20/20, probably not the best idea to go down there. Can’t change that, but I defended myself and that’s what happened,” said Rittenhouse on The Blaze’s You Are Here, hosted by Elijah Schaffer and Sydney Watson

Maybe Trump can do a duo with Thai PM with the album "coup d'etat, coup d'detat".

They lied about Trump having positive test and how sick he was
In a new book about his time working in the White House, Meadows says that on the morning of October, 2, 2020, Trump's oxygen levels had plummeted to about 86%, prompting the White House physician Dr. Sean Conley to recommend the President be moved to the hospital.

Oh sh*t are they on the "war on Christmas again"?

This one is a great, talks about Alex Jones getting sued about sh*t he makes up, so he has to find issues that don't involve him smearing people.

Hence: War on Christmas! THEY are stealing it from you! No living human is accused of anything in this video! Apart from all of THEM!

One of the disappointing outcomes of the Trump era is the inescapable realisation of just how many truly obnoxious people live in our communities.
Funny thing is, I honestly thought I didn’t know a single Trump supporter until a neighbour mentioned he’s a big fan (+ anti-vax, convinced Bill Gates is trying to reduce earth’s population “by any means necessary”, and convinced the Chinese unleashed COVID on the world).

It’s all pretty weird because though I’m not great mates with him, he seemed like a nice enough guy and he certainly doesn't fit the cliche of the pickup-driving good ol’ boy.

I’m proceeding cautiously as I try to get to the bottom of his reasons for loving Trump, but I have already noticed he gets a slightly robotic mien about him when he gets onto these topics. Really does make me think at the back of my mind that he’s actually brainwashed. More news as it comes to hand.

Shock jocks and Pauline Hanson have benefited from this era of the perpetually aggrieved, where gut feeling trumps facts and science.

Could be he likes white neighbours, or feels indebted to Trump for saving Christmas. Although many boys look up to him for believing any good looking woman is up for being groped, like in the pornos. Or maybe he is more cerebral and merely enjoys politics as performance art and spite’s primacy over policy.
I just noticed a pretty crucial typo in my post (now corrected). I meant to say he "certainly doesn't fit the cliche of the pickup-driving good ol’ boy".
