What a ******* child. He cancels a diplomatic trip because a country won't sell him the largest proportion of their territory.

Just waiting for the moronic sycophants to come out and defend this idiocy.
No he’s distraction-trolling.

Can’t do anything else these days.

I have previously mentioned this metaphor here...

People are seated on a hypothetical aeroplane.
"Oh, I absolutely despise the pilot of this plane, Captain XYZ. I Hope he crashes this thing - it would look so embarrassing for him!"

We see this sentiment here. Bill Maher openly prayed for a recession to hurt Trump (videos are out there if you search). Posters here beg for it every day. While such sentiment and investor "panic" can become a self fulfilling prophecy and cause a recession in themselves, this does not go forward without obvious market indicators suggesting that the panic is valid to those who actually know what they're doing.

To the TDS sufferers: there may be reduced growth next year, but there will be no recession. Please don't feel bad about this... an actual recession would have hurt you more than it would've hurt Drumpf!!

The US is well behind China in African influence, Kenya a striking example.
You don't think African states are going to suddenly forget centuries of colonialism and Euro influence and suddenly embrace NATO states?

Many Africans long for the days of Empire. Just as plenty in Hong Kong do.

Probably not, but Hong Kong certainly is. So the African nations might look at that & just wonder what the best option might be for them. The Capitalist pigs or the Commy bastards.

Perhaps a little bet each way??

It really is an unfair advantage isn't it. Trump has a two year deadline that he cannot change. China just has to choose and time its intervention right and game over.

And the number of tools China has is ridiculous. Not only trade, but essential component supply that could pretty much stop most USA industries in an instant. It is hard to make anything without the widgets.

Maybe outsourcing vast portions of your entire manufacturing economy was not such a good idea after all.
Tell that to those that worship at the alter of free market capitalism
