Hillary got 43% vs Trumps 41% in a poll recently done in the last week of October (Refer Qu. 43.)

Seriously, as a latecomer to the thread, I asked myself what precisely IS the topic? It seemed like a very rambling and vague discourse on American politics to me. I endeavoured to nail it down more precisely by trying to find the OP, but if you track back through to page 1 of Part 8, then Part 7 and so forth you can't get past Part 3 as there is no link-back on page 1 of Part 3 to Part 2, hence no way of knowing what the OP was. If the topic can only be narrowed down to the title of the thread fair enough but not having followed US politics much until recently I seriously don't know what the 'Shi'ites Hit The Fan' part is actually referring to.

Towards the end of the campaign it degenerated into a Hillary victory is guaranteed love fest
