Should note that Robbie had just made the WA state squad and was set to play in the u18 championships that are coming up (as an over-ager)

I'm hoping we can develop that talent that he has to make him a weapon.

how is a 19 year old eligible for the u18 championships?

The system just reverted back from u17/u19 system to an u16/u18s.

"Players who have been overlooked for the draft and turn 19 next year will still be given opportunities to play in the championships as well, however AFL recruiters have pushed to see more chances given to talented bottom-age players as has been the case in the previous system."

Robbie turned 19 in March.

Lowers his eyes in and outside 50 and hits up targets instead of blazing away. That'll be a novelty amongst our forward group.

Lots of goal assists. Great kicking action and ball skills/hand eye. Genuine small forward at 180cm with tons of agility and acceleration. A lot of the small forwards currently on our list won't be in 2024.

Welcome aboard Bobby!

That highlight reel is impressive. Obviously raw but loved the big tackles that were on show as well as his ability to spot players.

I can see him and Stevo really complimenting each other in the forward line.

Welcome RHJ. Looks like he's got speed, agility and can make things happen and some crafty kicks inside 50.
Love the fact that it only got out a few hours before the draft as to who we were taking.
He'll take some time to adjust and learn the new gameplan, so I wouldn't expect him to be straight in like some are hoping lol.

He might identify as an U18. Might be a good idea. Might start identifying as 23 myself
